Peace Corps in Tanzania

There are more than 220 Volunteers in Tanzania working with their communities on projects in agriculture, education, and health. During their service in Tanzania, Volunteers learn to speak Swahili. More than 2,850 Peace Corps Volunteers have served in Tanzania since the program was established in 1961.
