Volunteers live and work with community members on locally prioritized projects, receiving a living allowance and other support as they build relationships, exchange cultures, and help transform lives for generations.

  • For U.S. citizens who are at least 18 years old
  • Applicants should have a four-year degree or relevant work experience
  • Be humble, flexible, and ready to work

Peace Corps Response
Up to 12 months

Short-term, high-impact opportunities abroad

Apply your years of experience to collaborating with communities on specialized short-term assignments with long-lasting impact. Receive a living allowance and other support as you work to make change together.

  • For U.S. citizens who are at least 18 years old
  • Applicants should have relevant professional experience, an advanced degree, or specialized certifications
  • Be culturally competent and ready to collaborate
