In 2008, Rwanda adopted English as the national medium of instruction, marking a significant shift in its education system. However, the transition from French to English in classrooms is still relatively recent, and both teachers and students are working hard to build their confidence and fluency.
As a TEFL Teacher Trainer, you will ensure that primary school teachers are not only proficient in English but also effective in teaching the language. Your collaborative work will focus on strengthening both language proficiency levels and teaching capacities through hands-on support, creative engagement, and professional development.

"What I’ve enjoyed the most about service is the friendships and connections I’ve made at my health center and in my community. There’s a group of kids I see every week at the health center, and I’m always so excited to see them."
