Bienvenue au Corp de la Paix Togo!

Welcome to Peace Corps Togo!

Peace Corps has had a long and positive partnership with Togo dating back to 1962, and the government and people of Togo highly value the work of the over 3,100 Peace Corps Volunteers that have served here—myself among them. For over 60 years, Peace Corps Volunteers have partnered with communities across Togo to strengthen capacity, foster intercultural exchange, and create lasting impact.

Volunteers in Togo work hand-in-hand with community partners to address their needs, with a focus on health, education, and agriculture. Whether they are co-teaching English classes in rural schools, supporting public health campaigns, or working with farmers to promote food security, our Volunteers are making a tangible difference in the lives of Togo's people.

At the heart of Peace Corps’ mission is the belief that meaningful change happens through people-to-people connections. Here in Togo, Volunteers integrate into their host communities, learn local languages, and develop deep relationships that extend far beyond their service. Volunteers leave Togo with valuable skills in intercultural communication and collaboration and expertise in areas like sustainable agriculture, health promotion, project management, and many more.

Join us in promoting world peace and friendship! Our team is dedicated to supporting your professional growth, with expert instructors and opportunities to learn French and local languages. Sincerely,
