Peace Corps Belize is seeking to engage the local market on the requirements listed below.

Backup Medical Provider (BUMP)

Peace Corps Belize is seeking a qualified medical provider (physician or nurse practitioner) to serve as an on-call Backup Medical Provider (BUMP). The BUMP will provide clinical care for Peace Corps Volunteers and Trainees in the absence of a Peace Corps Medical Officer (PCMO) or assist the PCMO during busy periods. Responsibilities include direct patient care, making referrals to external medical consultants or facilities, and supporting administrative tasks and health education as needed. When on call, the Backup Provider will be available by telephone and may be required to report in person to the Peace Corps Office in Belmopan.
