Peace Corps Manual

These policies govern the operations of the Peace Corps and the responsibilities and conduct of Volunteers and agency employees.

Please find the Peace Corps Manual Sections below. Additional information about Peace Corps policies can be found in the Peace Corps Global Policy Handbook and Peace Corps' Code of Federal Regulations.

In additional, pursuant to Executive Order (E.O.) 13891 titled “Promoting the Rule of Law through Improved Agency Guidance Documents” (October 31, 2019), the Peace Corps is creating a single, searchable, indexed website that will contain, or provide links to, all agency guidance documents currently in effect that have general applicability, are intended to affect the public but do not have the force or effect of law. Except for those that are incorporated into the Code of Federal Regulations, the below documents may be considered guidance under E.O. 13891 and as such do not have the force or effect of law. This website will be updated to clearly identify all such portions of the Peace Corps Manual and to include any other such documents that the agency may identify or generate in the future.
