About The Embodiment Institute

The Embodiment Institute (TEI) is a training institute, research entity, and culture change engine that strategically develops people and organizations to be agents of transformation in families, social movements and the environment.

Duties

We are looking for a sharp, detailed, hard-working, and experienced digital maven to create compelling content that brings our offerings into the digital world. This role supports the growth of our communications and social media presence, and is focused on building original, platform-native content that strengthens our multi-entity brand, drives engagement, and supports measurable growth and marketing outcomes. The day-to-day responsibilities will entail editing short form videos for social media, adding branding to clips, creating copy for social media posts, drafting newsletter content, scheduling assets on various platforms. We’d love someone who can follow and support the communications strategy, research internet trends and conduct research for SEO and depthful audience engagement. This position will also support community management: responding to comments, messages, and interacting with our online communities. As well as contributing to collecting performance metrics across our channels. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the ethos, quality, and tone of Becoming the People Podcast, Prentis Hemphill and The Embodiment Institute’s work and voice. They will be able to craft messaging that accurately portrays the brand.

Qualifications

-Technical Proficiency: Experience with design, video editing, and content management systems (e.g. OpusClip, Later, Canva, Squarespace, Mailchimp, Google Suite, Buzzsprout). -Storytelling & Creativity: A strong eye for visual composition and a unique voice to capture audience attention. Must be familiar with The Embodiment Institute, Becoming the People Podcast and Prentis Hemphill’s work and be able to recreate a similar tone and quality -Trend Awareness: Deep understanding of social media algorithms and viral internet culture. -Communication: Excellent copywriting and verbal skills for both internal collaboration and audience engagement. -Proven experience in digital content creation including: social media assets, newsletter copywriting and promotional materials. -Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams -Must have access to reliable internet and computer -Detail-oriented, reliable, ability to meet deadlines, sharp and authentic communication skills and ability to work quickly and until tasks are complete. -Ability to attend meetings with the Production Director and other team members when needed. -Commitment to excellence and ability to produce high-quality work -Rooted in and knowledgeable in social justice, healing justice, BIPOC embodiment movements, equity and a lived commitment to apply racial, gender and economic justice lenses to your storytelling.
