Graduate School of Public & International Affairs (GSPIA) is one of the most comprehensive schools of public service in the world, with degree programs focused on both domestic and foreign policy, nonprofit administration, and many specialized majors including Energy & Environment, Human Security, NGOs & Civil Society, and other fields. Students have the ability to earn a major and a minor, as well as joint degrees (law, business, public health, social work, or information science), and certificates in the study of a major world region (Africa, Asia, Europe, Eastern Europe, Latin America).

Internship
All students complete a 300 hour internship as a graduation requirement. GSPIA has three career advisors (two based in Pittsburgh and one based in Washington D.C.) to assist students in their internship search.
