About this program
The Global Conflict and Human Security program at UNH, prepares students to lead international development programs that enhance human security and promote durable peace. It cultivates a deep understanding of the challenges facing people in conflict-affected and fragile states. Students sharpen their problem-solving skills and learn strategies for building resilient communities through project-based courses taught by researchers, humanitarians and development practitioners.
This online program is ideal for working professionals. Students build essential skills in data collection and analysis, and project design, monitoring and evaluation. The multi- course capstone experience provides an opportunity for students to connect theory to practice and hone their skills by designing and implementing a development project in their community. Students graduate with the knowledge, skills and leadership experience necessary to excel in the public, non-profit, non-governmental and private sectors.
