About this program
Did Your Peace Corps Service Inspire You to Do More? The Regis MSDP is the place for you! The Regis MSDP combines the best of theory and real-world application for a truly innovative graduate degree. We are proud to welcome Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) as Coverdell Fellows to enter this extraordinary program, where your knowledge and experience will find a home within our applied graduate studies.
In two years, Fellows complete eleven seminar courses, a professional project or a service-oriented field experience to satisfy degree requirements. Field Placements may occur within an organization, sector, and/or region of student interest, and prepare graduates to enter or move forward in their professional development careers. In certain circumstances, the Coverdell Internship requirement may be fulfilled by this component of the program.
Because the Regis MSDP prepares students to collaborate effectively with a variety of development actors from an integrated, inter-sectoral and global perspective, Regis extends scholarships, learning resources, and connectivity support to RPCVs wherever they are in the world. With comprehensive online resources, 24/7 access to global library access, and dynamic presentations of all courses, this program engages people where they live, observe, and experience development challenges.
All courses are delivered virtually and have synchronous or asynchronous components and are completed remotely by students living anywhere else globally with reliable internet connectivity. Classes are generally held during times that fall outside of sleeping and working hours, regardless of time zone once a week for the first year. No one needs to reside in Denver to participate in the program.
