NYU Steinhardt offers a 50% scholarship plus the cost of basic health insurance, year long cohort-based career development workshops, personalized career support, and access to the premier global university to Returned Peace Corps Volunteers accepted into the NYU Peace Corps Coverdell Fellowship.

Application requirements
Candidates apply via Graduate Admissions for their program of study and apply to the fellowship by January 15 for the fall semester only.
Admissions process
Check the box on the graduate admissions application to indicate interest in the Fellowship, upload a description of peace corps service and essay (question in application) with the admission application.

Internship
All NYU Peace Corps Coverdell fellows must complete 160 hours interning or volunteering at a nonprofit or governmental agency that serves high-needs communities in the local area. Fellows are strongly encouraged to complete this requirement during their first year of graduate study.
