About this program
NYU Silver offers outstanding training in clinical social work practice with a social justice perspective. A focus on research-informed, direct practice with individuals, groups, and families runs through the entire Master of Social Work curriculum. We also offer opportunities to study policy and community practice as well as global social work, with opportunities to study abroad. Our faculty includes leading scholars who are creating new knowledge that social workers will use throughout their careers.
NYU Silver offers a 50% tuition scholarship, yearlong cohort-based career development workshops, personalized career support, and access to the premier global university to Returned Peace Corps Volunteers accepted into the NYU Peace Corps Coverdell Fellowship.

Internship
Fellows must intern, work, or volunteer for 160 hours with a non-profit organization or governmental agency that serves high need communities in the United States. This internship doubles as the required internship for the Masters in Social Work degree. We are working with over 600 agencies in a variety of areas in the tri-state region for social work placements.
