The figures are for one full-time year 15 credits per semester of coursework (30 credits per year). With the BSW, the program is 30 credits. The Fellowship offers at least a total of 25% of tuition and fees for the 54 credit program.
One fellowship is a 6 Credit Graduate Assistantship per semester.
Our second fellowship is a RA for upperclassmen with paid apartment and limited meal plan. Both fellowships provide approximately the same amount of fellowship.
Internship
Students complete 250 hours of field internship per semester; for those students in the 2-year program, this will total 1,000 hours. For students who enter as Advanced Standing BSW graduates, this totals 500 hours. The School has over 500 internship sites in New Jersey, Philadelphia, PA, and New York, including internships at the United Nations. Additionally, the Global and Community Practice concentration offers 10 week internships overseas.
Field work is completed in conjunction with classes. Full-time students take class on Tuesday and Friday, with the remaining 3 days for field internship. Part-time students take two classes on Tuesday evenings.
