At the same time, it allows the Fellow to reintegrate into a community and do something meaningful after your experience abroad.
Master of Business Administration

Master of Science in Information Systems
The Master of Science in Information Systems was designed for today’s manager. This degree program will equip you with necessary skills for successful career advancement, including:
- Strategic implications of technology projects.
- Partnering across the enterprise to meet corporate goals around technology deployment and management.
- Developing your can-do management approach (while managing risk).
- Security issues around end-user computing within the corporate environment

Application requirements
Application requirements differ by degree program, so please see the program specific information listed below.
- Online Graduate Application - There is a non-refundable $60 application fee.
- Transcripts - Official transcripts from EACH college and/or university you have attended.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75 from a regionally accredited college or university
MBA: Additional Program Requirements
- GMAT or GRE exam (May be requested)
- Foundation coursework may be required.
- Resume or professional vitae documenting nature and total full-time years’ experience
Accounting Concentration Additional Requirements:
- Accounting BBA or a C or better in intermediate financial accounting, individual taxation, accounting and information systems, auditing and assurance
MSIS Additional Program Requirements:
- GMAT/GRE Scores
- List of three references
- Statement of purpose
- Resume or professional vitae
Admissions process
There is a two-part application process:
- First, complete and submit an application to one of the programs listed above. Application here.
- Next, submit your request to be considered as a Coverdell Fellow to [email protected]. Be sure to include your name, program you have applied for, along with either your:
- official Peace Corps Description of Service (DOS), or
- for currently serving volunteers, a letter from the applicant’s Country Director specifying that you are in good standing. These applicants will be asked to provide their DOS upon completion of Peace Corps Service.
Note: A completed and submitted application to a degree program is a prerequisite for being considered to receive a KSU Coverdell Fellowship.

Paul D. Coverdell Fellows at the Coles College of Business receive a partial tuition waiver as well as an employment offer as a Graduate Assistant (GRA) working up to 20 hours per week performing a community outreach service. PDC applicants may apply for a GMAT waiver.
Internship
Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) participating in KSU's Paul D. Coverdell Fellows Program with faculty on a range of community engaged research and service projects that allow students to further develop skills in research, leadership, language and cultural understanding. As part of your requirements as a Coverdell Fellow you will complete a substantial internship which will benefit a community in the United States (including U.S. Territories). Recent Coverdell Fellows projects have involved refugee resettlement programs, recruiting and mentoring students in the Peace Corps Prep program, the UNITAR affiliated CIFAL Atlanta, a Romanian business university, a Zambian orphanage, a Guatemalan business program, the Atlanta Regional Commission, and the Georgia Department of Health and Human Serivces. and local Junior Achievement. Various state agencies, law enforcement, healthcare providers, public schools, nonprofit organizations and local businesses have all benefited from the RPCV Fellows Program.
