Health Clinic Repair and Renovation
Description
This project responds to a long‑identified community need stemming from persistent obstacles that have delayed renovation of the local clinic for many years. Recently, renewed motivation among residents has created an opportunity to complete this long‑awaited work. Community members noted that interior faults, cracks, and other conditions prevent the clinic from functioning as intended, forcing people to travel long distances, incur financial strain, and navigate unsafe roads just to access basic healthcare elsewhere.
The project aims to repair structural faults and cracks, improve the interior space, and ensure the clinic becomes tidy, safe, and fully operational. These efforts focus on correcting conditions that undermine the building’s safety and limit its ability to serve both patients and health workers. Expected results include a structurally sound interior, repaired cracks, and an enhanced environment that supports clean and dignified health service delivery.
In addition, the Community Health Management Committee will be strengthened in planning, budgeting, and oversight throughout the renovation and after completion. This will help ensure effective long‑term management and the continued sustainability of the clinic.
