Description

Contributions to the Eastern Caribbean Country Fund support in four countries—Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia and St Vincent & the Grenadines--sustainable, community-driven Peace Corps Partnership Program (PCPP) projects led by Peace Corps Volunteers. These projects focus on youth and education, particularly literacy and numeracy. Amazing projects in Eastern Caribbean have been funded through the Country Fund. Past projects include summer camps that provide an opportunity for elementary school students to apply science to their everyday world; literacy nights when boys and girls read their favorite books to their families; and multi-media labs where students have access to equipment unavailable in their communities.
