(Washington, D.C. | Friday, June 2, 2023) – President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. today announced his intent to nominate David E. White, Jr. as Deputy Director of the United States Peace Corps.

Peace Corps Director Carol Spahn issued the following statement:
“I am thrilled that President Biden announced his intent to nominate David E. White, Jr. to serve as Deputy Director of the Peace Corps at such a pivotal time in our agency’s history. If confirmed, David will bring a strong commitment to public service and a wealth of experience to the role.”
