Memorial Services for Volunteer Stephanie Chance Announced

WASHINGTON, D.C., Oct., 13, 2010 Peace Corps volunteer Stephanie Chance died in her home in Zinder, Niger on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010. Her death appears to be from natural causes.

Stephanie, 26, a native of Phoenix, Ariz. had been serving as a municipal development volunteer since Sept. 23, 2010. She had recently arrived at her site in Zinder.

The following information on memorial services was provided to the Peace Corps by Stephanies family:

Visitation:
Friday Oct. 15, 2010 5-8 PM at Desert Hills Mortuary and Memorial Park, Scottsdale, Arizona

Funeral Mass:
Saturday Oct. 16, 2010 at 10 AM at St. Pauls Catholic Church, Phoenix, Arizona

Celebration of life:
Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010 12:00-3:00 p.m.
Gainey Ranch Gold Club, Scottsdale, Arizona
