Cancellation of August 2026 Peace Corps Training Class to Colombia
WASHINGTON – The Peace Corps cancelled the volunteer training class scheduled to arrive in Colombia in August 2026 due to regional security concerns. The agency will work closely with affected individuals to offer alternative placement options with other Peace Corps country programs that match their skills, interests and service goals. Volunteers already serving in Colombia live and work outside the affected area and are not impacted by this cancellation.
