Research and Evaluation Specialist

Project description

The Ministry of Health Cooperative Agreement (MOH CoAg) in Eswatini has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as a Research and Evaluation Specialist. As the country has embarked in advancing the sustainability agenda, through the MoH CoAg, there is a need to develop a report that can help the entire health system to learn from. The Senior Management Team (SMT) at the MoH CoAg, has noted the need for additional support for the work of Research, Evaluation, and Publications where the work completed by various programs can be published and distributed nationally and internationally.

The PCRV will assist the program manager to develop a plan for public health research and evaluation and support the review and update the research protocols and support applications to the national health research review board. The PCRV will also participate in the training of current evaluation team members and other stakeholders such as MoH, Sexual Reproductive Health Unit (SRHU), and the National Laboratory.

Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in Eswatini together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.
