Peace Corps Response

Health Systems Information Technology Specialist

Project description

Good Shepherd Catholic College of Health Sciences (GSCCHS) in Eswatini has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as a Health Systems Information Technology Specialist. GSCCHS is currently developing the College Management Information System (CMIS), which is the major project that will reduce data redundancy and over-use of paper existing in the GSCCHS information support environment.

The PCRV will support GSCCHS to migrate the CMIS from the physical server to a cloud based system and help launch the full-time implementation of online/eLearning services at the college. The PCRV will also collaborate with staff in integrating CMIS with Pastel for students to see outstanding college fees.

Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in Eswatini together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.
