Let us help you find the right position.

If you are flexible in where you serve for the two-year Peace Corps Volunteer program, our experts can match you with a position and country based on your experience and preferences.

Serve where you’re needed most

The Peace Corps wants to enable more Volunteers to accept our bold invitation to serve. And, for answering the call, certain positions are temporarily eligible for added benefits.

Shorter assignment
  • Instead of the traditional 27-month service assignment, make an impact with a shorter, 15-month commitment.
  • Participating countries: Cameroon, Eswatini, and The Gambia.

Higher readjustment allowance
  • Earn double the current readjustment allowance upon the completion of your two years of service. This will be approximately $20,000 ($800 per month) pre-tax to help you take the next step.
  • Participating countries: Liberia, Malawi, Rwanda, Togo, and Uganda.

Mid-service break
  • A benefit never before offered: reconnect with family and friends halfway through your two-year assignment with 15 days of paid time off, roundtrip airfare to the U.S., and a daily allowance for expenses.
  • Participating countries: Benin, Guinea, Madagascar, and Sierra Leone.
