NYU is the largest partner university to the Coverdell Fellowship with seven graduate programs currently participating, a number we expect to increase in future years.

All NYU Peace Corps Coverdell fellows must work 160 hours in their first year of study interning or volunteering at a nonprofit or governmental agency that serves underserved communities in New York City. This internship doubles as the required internship for the Masters in Social Work degree. We are working with over 600 agencies in a variety of areas in the tri-state region for social work placements.
