General Information: The BardMAT is a discipline-based teacher preparation program leading to a master’s degree and teacher certification in grades 7-12. We offer degrees and certification in one of five subject areas (English, history, math, biology, or Spanish language). The program combines graduate courses in the discipline with graduate courses in education and student teaching placements in area partner schools. The Program can be completed in one-year (full time) or two years (part time).
