2017 Coordinators Conference

September 25-26, 2017

This two-day event brings university partners together to help advance their Peace Corps Prep and Coverdell Fellows programs.

The conference will feature peer-to-peer best practice sharing and innovative recommendations to help university partner’s advance their Peace Corps Prep and Coverdell Fellows programs. There will be updates from the Peace Corps Office of University Programs, opportunities to engage with additional agency personnel, and networking opportunities.

Fellows Fair

Attention Coverdell Fellows coordinators!

On the evening of September 25, Peace Corps will host a Fellows Fair at Peace Corps Headquarters in DC, giving you the opportunity to market your program to prospective students.

Peace Corps will advertise the fair to DC-area RPCVs, as well as the attendees of an RPCV Career Conference happening at the same time. Email [email protected] to confirm your attendance. Please title the subject line “Fellows Fair Confirmation” and include your full name, college/university, and graduate program in the body of the email.

Dietary restrictions: After you have registered, please email [email protected] if you have any dietary restrictions. In the event that the location cannot accommodate your needs, you will receive a notification from the Office of University Programs.

Peace Corps will provide complimentary snacks and lunch on both days of the conference. You will be responsible for breakfast, dinner, and other meals. 


Funding for lodging is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. While funding is available, Peace Corps will cover two hotel nights (September 24-26) for one coordinator per memorandum partnership per institution. After May 1, if funding is still available, Peace Corps will cover hotel for additional university representatives.

If you need to arrive prior to Sunday, September 24, or depart after Tuesday, September 26, you may reserve up to three additional nights before and/or  after the outlined dates at a group rate of $231 per night.

Peace Corps will not cover or assist with additional costs associated with attending the conference, such as transportation to and from the conference, local transportation, additional meals, additional hotel nights, and/or other monetary requests.
