The Coaching and Mentoring Specialist, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and five years of experience with business and financial management, is needed to work with the Area Programs team (especially the Development Facilitator) to provide business management technical guidance across the value chains, mainly agribusiness enterprises and exchange skills with the local staff to ensure that knowledge transfer continues after the volunteer’s service. The PCRV will also develop a mentoring and coaching manual to use in the business mentorship and coaching for producer/enterprise groups in strengthening their organizational and institutional capacities and support linkages between producers and other relevant stakeholders. The overall goal is to provide training to these producer groups so that they have a full understanding of the business and market sectors and the best strategies/practices to keep their businesses relevant to the current market needs for sustainability purposes.
Please note that departure dates and other details of this project could change because of the uncertainties as Peace Corps and local partners resume volunteer operations. Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in eSwatini together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
• Knowledge of business management and financial inclusion
• 5 years’ experience in business and financial management
• Knowledge of curriculum design and modeling in coaching and mentoring
