Agro-Ecotourism Program Development Specialist
Peace Corps Response positions are open to returned Volunteers or U.S. citizens with significant professional and technical experience.
The Agro-Ecotourism Program Development Specialist will support BISU in developing a five-year comprehensive agro-ecotourism development plan. The Response Volunteer will provide trainings and workshops with the university and campus staff, agro-ecotourism service providers and other community stakeholders. They will also develop and implement monitoring mechanisms and an evaluation framework for agro-ecotourism. The main goal of the assignment is to advise and consult with staff and other stakeholders in the planning process and to assist with the development of agro-ecotourism operational and marketing strategies for the agro-ecotourism park.
• At least with 3-year work experience in agro-ecotourism program planning and implementation
• Skilled in the application of modern Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other related mapping technology
• Demonstrated ability to live and work in a multi-cultural setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated flexibility
