TEFL/Literacy Curriculum Development Specialist

Project Description

Educational institutions in Eswatini, Jamaica, and Panama have requested the support of Peace Corps Response Volunteers (PCRVs) to serve as Curriculum Development Specialists. These institutions have identified needs for additional support to strengthen the capacity of local teachers and improve their educational materials and curricula.

The PCRVs will review and provide recommendations on existing or new educational curricula/programs and provide capacity strengthening support to teachers and other educational staff.

Applicants for this position should be open to serve where needed most among the listed countries. We will review your application and match your skills and eligibility to a position in a specific country with a start date in July-September 2024.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in education, literacy, TESOL, or related field
• At least three to five years of experience teaching English or literacy
• Experience with teacher professional development and teacher training
• Strong knowledge of curriculum design principles
