Student Organizations Support Specialist

Project Description

The Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as a Student Organizations Support Specialist. The Ministry developing a specific program dedicated to student organizations, interest clubs, self-governance structures, which aims to improve the university environment and create synergies between formal and non-formal education. The program is at the stage of developing the general concept and should be completed by the end of the current year. The Ministry has identified a need for a fresh perspective and valuable expertise in implementing programs and projects in universities.

The PCRV will serve as a resource and as an expert in the field of programs for youth groups and organizations in the academic environment of universities. The PCRV will also assist with co-organizing public consultations agendas and discussions, assist partners with drawing conclusions and developing future plans and co-coordinate with a broad working group responsible for developing, planning, and implementing programs.

Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in Moldova together as a group. While the whole group's departure dates could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’ degree in any relevant field
• Experience with establishing, managing, or working with student organizations
