The PCRV will work with the Programs Development and Fundraising Manager and CDD’s core staff who are focused on implementing the Sector 3 initiative. Since this is a new project, the Leadership Hub Coordinator needs support in assessing the quality of the program, its delivery by the trainers, their facilitation and presentation skills, and use of modern, interactive methods for training/workshops. The PCRV will also work with the fundraising team on reviewing and interpreting project proposal requirements, brainstorming project ideas, and developing draft proposals in order to observe how the team works and provide suggestions for improvement. Additionally, CDD needs to reach out to new beneficiaries to increase the visibility of “Sector 3” by improving the functioning and effectiveness of existing social media, specifically their Facebook page, and the PCRV will provide recommendations on how to improve social media presence through media campaigns or other activities. CDD is an NGO with a creative, dynamic and enthusiastic team, and the PCRV’s goal will be to assist them to strengthen their skills in organizational planning, project development, English writing and proposal writing, and social media to pursue their vision of open, democratic, inclusive, and consolidated society in Georgia.
Please note that departure dates and other details of this project could change because of the uncertainties as Peace Corps and local partners resume volunteer operations. Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in Georgia together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.
