Organizational Capacity Strengthening Advisor

Project Description

The AO Alianța Creștină “Moldova Fără Orfani” (ACMO) in Moldova has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as an Organizational Capacity Strengthening Advisor. ACMO’s mission is to see vulnerable children in safe and loving families and a Moldovan society moving towards family-based care. AO ACMO at the moment has identified two major challenges for which they have requested support: 1. A lack of strategic documents to help set a way forward and growth opportunities in the field of communication, PR, fundraising and networking; 2. The members are different organizations working in Moldova in the field of child welfare and during the meetings a strong need for capacity building activities and programs for the members has been identified.

The PCRV will work in partnership with the local partner to conduct a needs assessment and analyze the current capacity and development gaps within an organization and its members and develop strategies and action plans to address identified capacity needs and align them with the goals and objectives of the organization. The PCRV will also provide ongoing support, guidance, and mentoring to the local team to enhance their capacity development and facilitate their professional growth.

Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in Moldova together as a group. While the whole group's departure dates could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.
