Online Digital Content Creation Specialist
Project Description
Le Groupe Chrétien de Recherche Action pour la Promotion humaine (GRAPHE), a local NGO in Togo’s Maritime Region, has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as an Online Digital Content Creation Specialist. Since 2013, GRAPHE has been expanding the use of System of Rice Intensification (SRI) and Bio-Intensive Gardening (BIG) technologies to enhance rice farming and vegetable gardening techniques with farmers’ cooperatives within the Maritime Region of Togo. The organization’s leadership plans to use online digital content to promote and market its cooperative partners’ products through the use of diverse online media and communication platforms. Staff of the organization have identified a need to increase their capacity to use online digital content for marketing purposes.
The PCRV will collaborate with GRAPHE’s Field Operation Manager, Executive Director, and Managing Director to develop an online digital content strategy that takes into consideration diverse online media and communication platforms. The PCRV will also co-train GRAPHE staff to manage online digital content and co-author materials with GRAPHE staff for internal and external stakeholders, including online publications, newsletters, reports, and pamphlets. The overall goal of this project is to strengthen GRAPHE's ability to expand geographical reach and develop more opportunities to promote and market its cooperative partners’ products.
Please note that departure dates and other details of this project could change because of the uncertainties as Peace Corps and local partners resume volunteer operations. Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in Togo together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.
