Project Description
A National Capacity Building Specialist, with at least an undergraduate degree in a relevant field and 3 years’ experience in designing and implementing adult training programs, is needed build the capacity of GLOW Club counselors to sustainably implement their programs. The PCRV will conduct a training needs assessment, design and facilitate trainings for counselors, and design and implement a mentorship program to support the counselors. The Volunteer will also develop a comprehensive training package to be used for developing future counselors, implement a training of trainers program, write and monitor grants to support counselor training, and establish a transition plan for GLOW Eswatini to become a separate entity from Peace Corps. The goal of this assignment is to build local capacity to design and sustain the program and operations of GLOW Eswatini.
Please note that departure dates and other details of this project could change because of the uncertainties as Peace Corps and local partners resume volunteer operations. Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in eSwatini together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.

Required Skills
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in designing and implementing training programs for adults
• 3 years’ experience in writing, implementing , monitoring and evaluating grants
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in adult and community development or any related field
• Knowledge of NGO/business development background
