Project Description
The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, with a bachelor’s degree in social science or a related field and three years of work experience in implementing monitoring and evaluation of HIV/AIDS related programs, is needed to work with the M&E Manager and other staff of Young Heroes on monitoring and evaluation systems, data quality management, program monitoring, and program evaluation. The PCRV will develop monitoring and evaluation standard operating procedures and data collection tools and train community-level data collectors on Quality Management standards. The goal of the assignment is to enhance the operations of Young Heroes through monitoring and evaluation best practices to pursue their mission empowering Eswatini’s most vulnerable youth to achieving their fullest potential.
Please note that departure dates and other details of this project could change because of the uncertainties as Peace Corps and local partners resume volunteer operations. Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in eSwatini together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.

Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or related field
• 3 years’ experience in implementing monitoring and evaluation of HIV/AIDS related programs
• Experience working on USAID-funded Projects
• Proficiency in MS office
• Experience in performance measurement, including target setting , reporting, database management and developing M&E and performance monitoring plans;
• Experience in training and providing mentoring support to Data collectors;
• A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills;
• Flexibility in working for under-resourced settings
