Project Description

The PCRV will work alongside local faculty to teach and mentor the Bachelor of Pharmacy students. The PCRV will teach pharmacy lessons, supervise student proposals and research projects, undertake relevant research, work with the University team to develop new modules, programs, and innovative teaching methods, and develop curriculum, policy, and procedures and assess program outcomes. PCRVs are expected to report on their service through post designed reporting tools twice during their service.
Peace Corps Response established its "Advancing Health Professionals" program in 2019. Response Volunteers serving with the AHP program seek to improve health outcomes on a societal level by providing high-level, specialized service in the health sector. AHP projects include nursing education, health systems strengthening, service delivery improvement, and other non-clinical interventions that enhance the quality of healthcare.
Please note that departure dates and other details of this project could change because of the uncertainties as Peace Corps and local partners resume volunteer operations. Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in Eswatini together as a group. While the whole group's departure dates could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.
