Project Description
The PCRV will work with the Chief Specialist in the QAU to develop and agree on sets of indicators that will assess effectiveness of the University Units in all dimensions, and create data collection tools such as: surveys, reporting template, performance tracking or evaluation matrix template etc. to collect data from units. The PCRV will assess QUA needs in data collection by interviewing all faculty heads and respective staff and reviewing existing data for all aspects of University performance and institutional effectiveness, and develop and deliver trainings/workshops in data collection, monitoring and evaluation tools based on those needs. The goal of the assignment is to support the university to develop a system of indicators and reporting pathways that will allow TSU to able to measure carefully its success and challenges and to identify corrective actions to improve performance.
Please note that departure dates and other details of this project could change because of the uncertainties as Peace Corps and local partners resume volunteer operations. Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in Georgia together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.

Required Skills
• Degree in Education (higher Education), M&E, or related field
• At least 3 years’ experience working for an institutional effectiveness office at a higher education institution
• Strong experience in monitoring and evaluation
• Excellent research skills
• High levels of energy and initiative
• Strong communications (presentation and writing), interpersonal and intercultural skills
• Commitment to do a versatile job with different groups of people
