Project Description
A PCRV, with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or other relevant field and at least two years’ experience in sales and marketing, is needed to advise management of the cooperative on appropriate marketing strategies. The Marketing Capacity Building Specialist will carry out an independent market survey/research and share their findings with the rest of the members of the marketing and sales department, work with the youth structure of the cooperative in order to interest both current youth members and other youth in the community to enhance youth program, and organize trainings of village savings and credit organizations at village level with the view to interest them in using savings and credit services effectively. The PCRV will also create new marketing opportunities, participate in publishing of articles in KCFCS newsletters and website, and improve/upgrade existing communications and marketing strategy manual.
Please note that departure dates and other details of this project could change because of the uncertainties as Peace Corps and local partners resume volunteer operations. Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in Uganda together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.
