Project Description
The PCRV will work closely with Dare to Innovate’s media staff as well as staff members across the organization to understand and express the many aspects of DTI’s operations, and they will also engage directly with entrepreneurs to help promote digital business activity and to teach best practices. The PCRV will also build and expand DTI’s website for accessible use by entrepreneurs, partners, and other interested parties; craft and document entrepreneur stories and DTI project narratives to be suitable for online presentation, and supplemental training to staff members on website and digital media best practices. The overall goal of the assignment is to help build DTI’s digital presence and support the youth entrepreneurial ecosystem DTI represents.
Please note that departure dates and other details of this project could change because of the uncertainties as Peace Corps and local partners resume volunteer operations. Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in Guinea together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.

Required Skills
• A degree in media, communications, computer science, or writing-intensive field
• Basic working proficiency in French is mandatory
• Strong website building capacity, including familiarity with HTML and CSS, as well as Squarespace, WordPress, or comparable platforms
• General competency across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
• Experience working or volunteering in a developing country and across cultures
