Project Description
The Computer Science Educator, with a Master of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent and five years of experience in teaching and research supervision at the university level, is needed to work alongside local faculty to teach and mentor Computer Science students and work with the university team in the development of new modules, programs and innovative teaching. The PCRV will also supervise and mentor students in their research projects and support community initiatives. The goal of this assignment is to build the capacity of EMCU’s Department of Computer Science to produce students who will build an information and technology-based society that focuses on experiments and hands-on experience to enhance the development of the Kingdom of Eswatini.
Please note that departure dates and other details of this project could change because of the uncertainties as Peace Corps and local partners resume volunteer operations. Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in eSwatini together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.
