Anti-Corruption Advocacy Advisor

Project Description

The Association for Human Rights Lex XXI (ADO Lex XXI) in Moldova has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as an Anti-Corruption Advocacy Advisor. ADO Lex XXI is implementing several multifaceted projects aimed at monitoring public authorities and addressing corruption risks within the Moldovan context. This project involves strategic partnerships with various stakeholders to conduct comprehensive assessments, roundtable discussions, monitoring reports, investigations, and reportages. The overarching goal of these efforts is to enhance transparency, accountability, and good governance practices within Moldova's public sector.

The PCRV will integrate into the partner organization's project team, providing essential support and expertise to enhance the implementation of anti-corruption initiatives. As a key member of the team, the PCRV will collaborate closely with organizational leaders, project managers, and fellow staff members to conduct in-depth research on governance issues, legislative frameworks, and best practices in anti-corruption efforts and analyze quantitative and qualitative data collected through monitoring reports, investigations, and research studies to identify patterns, trends, and corruption risks. The PCRV will also support the organization's advocacy efforts by drafting policy briefs, position papers, and advocacy campaigns targeting policymakers, civil society stakeholders, and the general public to raise awareness about corruption risks and promote accountability measures.

Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in Moldova together as a group. While the whole group's departure dates could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Public Policy, Political Science, International Development, Law, or a related discipline.
• Previous international experience in a relevant field
• 2 years of professional experience in data analysis, research, or advocacy roles, with a focus on governance, transparency, or anti-corruption efforts.
