Peace Corps Senegal recently welcomed 52 new volunteers in the Health and Community Economic Development sectors. A ceremony was held to usher them in officially. Watch the video below!

As a lifelong volunteer and intern at various grass roots organizations, Alex has always been drawn to overcoming challenging situations to helping others. It was a minor in French and B.S. in Environmental Science that brought him to Senegal as an Agroforestry Volunteer (2014-2016). He has since extended his contract twice as the Multimedia and Communications Coordinator (2016-2018) for Peace Corps Senegal.
