Podor Children's Health Fair Reaches 1,240 Children in Four Days

Team Podor reached 1,240 children in four days. How did you celebrate World Malaria Month?
Children from four villages learned about malaria prevention and transmission, handwashing, nutrition and exercise from six Peace Corps Senegal Volunteers and 24 host country nationals, women's groups, relays and teachers at the Podor Regional Children's Health Fair 8-11 April 2014.The Podor work zone's efforts didn't stop there. Their World Malaria Month Competition stats include seven Facebook statuses changed to malaria related events, two volunteers trained at the Thies entomology training and two Malaria blogs.
