USAID

Peace Corps enjoys a close, multifaceted partnership with the US Agency for International Development in Senegal. Collaborative initiatives include Education and Research in Agriculture (ERA) and the Small Projects Assistance Program (SPA which supports malaria and reproductive health activities. 

Trees For The Future

We collaborate with Trees for the Future to train villages in forest gardening techniques. 

Agricultural Research Institute of Senegal (ISRA)

We work with ISRA on an initiative to extend improved variety seeds to rural Senegalese farmers. 

National Agency for the Promotion of Youth Employment (ANPEJ)

Volunteers collaborate with ANPEJ to support youth employment initiatives and lead youth entrepreneurship trainings. 

Agency for Small and Medium Enterprise Development (ADEPME)

We work with ADEPME to promote local businesses by leading financial literacy and entrepreneurship trainings. 

STOMP Out Malaria in Africa

Senegal has a volunteer committee which supports the STOMP initiative, part of the President's Malaria Initiative. Annually, we also host three malaria "boot camps" which train volunteers and staff from all over Africa.

National Malaria Control Program (PNLP)

We support national malaria initiatives in Senegal, such as bed net distributions and integrated PECADOM+. 

U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC)

A technical collaboration CDC on medical entomology training as related to malaria prevention is an important component of our work.
