Within the opportunity youth population — young adults between the ages of 16 and 24 who are neither in school nor employed — the YouthBuild movement primarily serves young people who lack a high school diploma and financial resources. These young people are in greatest need of our support, and they are our greatest source of untapped potential.


The focus of this position is to increase engagement with YouthBuild alumni. The VISTA will establish a YouthBuild Alumni network and identifying key Alumni in setting up an Alumni Leadership Committee. The VISTA will research best practices, contact YB Alumni & establish a database, and develop a process to continually strengthen the alumni network.


YouthBuild Grand Rapids is looking for a VISTA member with a commitment to service, strong communication skills, and the ability manage and lead projects.


$15,002 annually, $575 biweekly, both amounts are pre-tax
