About the organization
JOIN THE MOVEMENT
Public Allies Arizona is changing the face and practice of leadership throughout Arizona communities by demonstrating our conviction that everyone can lead, and that lasting change results when citizens of all backgrounds step up, take responsibility, and work together.
We are currently seeking young activists, creators, aspiring entrepreneurs, civic engagers, and dreamers to take charge in their communities. We offer a 10-month, full time PAID apprenticeship program within local nonprofits and state agencies aimed at advancing social justice and equity by engaging and activating the leadership of all young people.
Interfaith Community Services ICS mission is to help people in need achieve stable, healthy and independent lives.
There are two objectives that will help inform a new model of volunteering. First objective is to create a centralized database of volunteer skills and expertise for staff to use that is easily accessible, searchable and updatable with new volunteer information. The Ally will create and analyze the survey. The Ally will also create a Skills Resource Guide for staff to use. The second objective is to create a survey and present a report from the results on barriers that underrepresented volunteers might encounter.
