The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has contracted Social Solutions to recruit and hire qualified individuals for the following position:
Title: Visual Information Communications Specialist
Location: Washington, DC

Salary Range: GS-12 equivalent
The Bureau for Legislative and Public Affairs is responsible for the overall strategic implementation of effective strategic communications and storytelling for the Agency including on behalf of the Administrator and Missions and Washington.
The Visual Information Communications Specialist serves as a member of the Public Affairs (PA) Team. He/she works closely with other members of the team to lead and contribute to key products, events, and services. The individual serves as a lead video producer, photographer, and digital storyteller helping to ensure that digital communications products are of high, professional quality that inform, engage, and inspire Agency staff. Effectively communicates USAID’s development agenda to promote support for the Agency’s mission and core values. PA requires operational and functional support to provide digital communications Agency-wide as well as for sub-sections of the Agency.

Qualification at the GS-12 equivalent Visual Information Communications Specialist level requires a Masters degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Alternately, an individual may qualify at the GS-12 equivalent Visual Information Communications Specialist level with a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 year of relevant experience.
