About the organization

St. Vincent de Paul of New Orleans is a volunteer-driven nonprofit which has worked to support people challenged by poverty in the Greater New Orleans region since 1865 through the provision of emergency financial assistance, case management, and access to education, food, and basic needs.


Our VISTA team is working to ensure equitable access to food and healthcare for Southeast Louisiana residents. How you can help:

Develop relevant, accessible training materials and resources for volunteers and staff leaders that are adaptable to each food distribution site and provide information for volunteers to add value to client experiences.

Survey partners to compile resources used by food distribution sites to share across the network and increase site efficacy.

Document best practices in current role and provide feedback to VISTA leaders or Program Director as needed.


Highschool diploma or GED
Comfort with technology: Word, Powerpoint, Canva, Outlook, Excel
