Duties

The Farmer to Farmer (F2F) volunteer will:

Assist in the organization and facilitation of a week-long Nutrition Sensitive Agriculture through Behavior Change Training of Trainers (TOT) for Peace Corps Volunteers (PCVs) and their host country national counterparts.

Support the initiative of PNIASA (Politique Nationale des Investissements Agricoles et de la Securite Alimentaire) to significantly reduce the number of malnourished people in Guinea through community participatory projects assisted by Peace Corps Volunteers placed in remote areas of Guinea.

Qualifications

The volunteer should have the following qualifications and background:

• University degree in food science/nutrition or another related field • Extensive experience or training in nutrition

• Training experience

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• French language skills are a plus but translation will be provided if necessary
