We are the only charter school in California that strategically recruits students and families that have been left behind by the current education system. As a result, 92% of our students are considered low-income and 50% are classified as English-Learners. After 10 years, our model is beginning to see results: 95% of the ACE High School Class of 2016 have persisted to their 2nd year of college. We are looking for a detail-oriented relationship-builder to join our central office team! You are deeply passionate about the ACE mission and believe that all students deserve excellent teachers. You will often be the first face of ACE for our students and families, so it is important to embody passion and commitment for our mission. Your core responsibilities will be focused on providing operational, customer service and candidate cultivation support. You will insure a high-touch, personalized candidate experience by screening candidates, managing our new applicant tracking system, Nimble and supporting new hires through the onboarding process.
This role reports to the Talent Manager.
Revise and organize job description templates to reflect ACE’s Talent Brand.
Assist with vacancy management through Nimble, merging openings when necessary.
Assist with candidate screening through resume review and phone interviews.
Build authentic relationships with candidates through consistent and honest communication.
Insure our Application Tracking System information is up to date by communicating with candidates, prospects and hiring managers.
Identify any blocks or leaks in the pipeline and take action to insure that candidates are moving through the process efficiently.
Support with on-site interviews as requested, including but not limited to: preparing candidate documents, facilitating student interviews.
Your bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
You have 1+ years of experience in teaching, non-profit operations and/or customer service. Your experience in staff recruitment, including ATS management is strongly preferred.
Your previous teaching experience is preferred.
You are a mission-driven individual who has experience working with diverse student populations, including English language learners and students with disabilities.
To perform essential functions for the role, you should be able to:
Talk, hear and communicate with both adults and children
Use hands or fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls
Walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms
Occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds and climb ladders
In terms of vision, have close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
