HEC is a U.S. university admissions consulting firm headquartered in Shenzhen, China, with offices in Beijing and Shanghai. We are an internationally and service-oriented firm that works individually with Chinese students and parents looking for higher-education abroad. Honed over years of experience, we believe our proprietary process helps our students develop into the type of applicants that top U.S. universities seek.

Duties

Strategic Consultants will be responsible for researching and understanding the college admissions landscape and most importantly, working with our students to guide them through the application process. We also provide extracurricular planning and academic advising services to younger students who are not yet ready to apply to colleges. Our consultants strive to understand each student and help them showcase their talents and potential. We guide students to evaluate potential majors, choose the ideal college(s), assist with the creation and development of admissions essays, and help students to develop as "whole persons" are all part of our process.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide consulting service to students and their families
  • Supervise all applications and steps in the process, ensuring quality and completion
  • Assist in academic advising and planning of activities for younger students
  • Execute and manage Consulting Strategic Direction
  • Provide regular reports and updates to Consulting Manager and Center Managers
  • Assist center manager in tasks related to consulting clients (marketing, sales, service)
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the consulting team
  • Play key role in sales, marketing and promotional seminars

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors degree obtained from a top Top 30 university program in the U.S
  • Willing and able to work 40+ hours/week, including weekends when necessary
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Strong public speaking and communication abilities
  • Passion for working with young people
  • Commitment to education and personal development
  • Commitment to customer service
  • Willingness to travel depending on business needs

Salary

18k-22k RMB/month + Commission + Bonus + other company benefits + Z-Visa
